Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Merchandising Specialist to keep the front showroom stocked, neat, and inviting. You will greet customers, locate merchandise, and support sales floor operations while assisting with price changes and displays.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desired and occasional cashier or delivery duties may be required. This role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and adherence to corporate merchandising guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Spanish language skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
• Check in, price, and stock items.
• Keep merchandise displayed fronted, full, and assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities daily.
• Change displays according to guidelines, update planograms, update price labels, ensure sale signs are in place.
• Remove sale materials when sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with manager to complete weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
• All other duties as assigned.
