Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a store associate to act as the primary point of contact for customers, stock and display merchandise, and support checkout operations. You will help maintain plan-o-grams, assist customers, and ensure store cleanliness and safety.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, and using handheld scanners for restocking. Strong interpersonal skills and basic math are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
