Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented associate in Virginia Beach to deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and support day-to-day operations.

You will interact with customers, process transactions, promote loyalty programs, and help keep the store clean and organized. This role emphasizes flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work with peers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment and follows procedures
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
