Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate in Rapid City, SD to deliver a high-quality customer experience and support daily store operations. You will engage with customers, process transactions, promote programs, and help maintain a clean, well-organized sales floor.

You should be capable of lifting heavy objects, multitasking, and adapting to changing priorities while contributing to a positive store culture. Retail experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases and returns and counts change back per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards of the sales floor.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives.
• Cross-trains to work in multiple areas of the store as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
