Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Retail Associate to be the point of contact for customers, assist in stocking and maintaining plan-o-grams, and ensure store presentation supports profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, assisting customers, and operating the cash register. A high school diploma is preferred; role requires lifting up to 40 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and face shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to itemize and total purchases.
• Collect payments and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and help set up displays as needed.
