Job summary

SAS Retail Services, part of Advantage Solutions, seeks in-store merchandising staff in California to help retailers meet shopper needs by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, while delivering excellent customer service. Training and team support are provided for success.

Qualifications

• Comfort interacting with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Minimum 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience or related field.
• Ability to lead and train teammates.
• Reliable transportation to work location.

Responsibilities

• Build displays and end caps, rotate shelves, and track inventory.
• Support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
• Record work and results using a smartphone/tablet after each shift.
• Assist with training and development of teammates.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and store staff.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
