Job summary

SAS Retail Services is seeking a merchandise associate in Westwood, NJ to support in-store displays, shelf resets, and inventory tracking. The role includes helping management with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, with opportunities to grow within a large Advantage Solutions network.

You will engage customers and store personnel, maintain a safety-first approach, and leverage your smartphone or tablet to record shift activities. On-site work with flexible hours is available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers' needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
