SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking an energetic In-Store Merchandiser to support retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and maintaining clean shelves across the Virginia Beach area.

You will train and coach teammates, assist with scheduling and onboarding, and report progress using your phone. No prior experience required—training provided, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience required or preferred.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers, including building displays and end caps.
• Reset shelves with product rotation and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities.
• Support leadership with reporting, scheduling, training, and onboarding new hires.
• Record work after each shift using a smartphone or tablet.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers' needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
