Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is hiring for an in-store merchandising role in Michigan. You will support retailers by building displays, resetting shelves, rotating stock, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities.No prior experience is required as training and team support are provided. You will assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, onboarding new hires, and help deliver engaging shopping experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
• 18 years or older.
• Able to perform physical work, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to the work location.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Able to record work with a smartphone or tablet after each shift.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
