Job summary

SAS Retail Services in Stockton is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant to support retailers with product displays, shelf resets, and inventory tracking. You will assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, while delivering friendly, proactive customer service.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and interaction with customers and store management. No prior merchandising experience is required as training and team support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
