Job summary

SAS Retail Services, part of Advantage Solutions, is seeking a part-time in-store merchandiser in Merrionette Park, IL. You will support retailers by building displays, rotating shelves, and tracking inventory while assisting with scheduling, onboarding, and reporting.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training and team support are provided. You must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and friendly interaction with shoppers.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and train teammates when needed.

Responsibilities

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training peopleCan use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
