SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, seeks an in-store merchandising assistant in Carmel, IN. You will build displays, rotate products, and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities while supporting leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required as training and team support are provided; growth opportunities abound as we promote from within.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a retail setting.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience and leadership experience required.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shopper's needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
