Job summary

SAS Retail Services is seeking an in-store merchandiser to support retailers, build displays, rotate products and track inventory. You will assist with leadership tasks, reporting, scheduling and onboarding new hires. No prior experience is required as training is provided.

You should be comfortable interacting with customers and management, be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and have reliable transportation. This is an entry-level role with growth opportunities and benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to interact with customers and management in a friendly manner
• 1–2 years merchandising experience required
• Experience leading and training people beneficial
• Ability to record work on a smartphone/tablet after each shift
• Strong safety awareness in a retail environment

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
