L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We distribute over 40,000 items including cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.

We are seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service retail stores such as Albertson's, Smith's, United Supermarkets, Safeway, Hy-Vee, and Kroger in various locations within the West, Central, and East Coast Regions.

Position: Retail Merchandiser – Ordering & Merchandising

Store Locations: Roswell, NM | Ruidoso, NM | Carlsbad, NM | Alamogordo, NM

Pay rate: $16.00

Hours: 15 hours weekly

Essential Job Functions:

• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager
• Place orders for inventory using a company tablet and scanner with Repsly software
• Follow store visit procedures including merchandising delivery, task forms, photos, and stock management
• Stay informed on sales, promotions, and policies regarding invoicing, exchanges, and returns
• Understand planograms and department footage, balancing sales and inventory control

Additional Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with store staff during visits
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt
• Maintain professional communication with store management and staff
• Clean and organize displays and shelves
• Conduct store surveys and audits, including photographing departments
• Perform physical work, lifting 15-40 lbs frequently
• Potential to service additional stores based on business needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D; retail or merchandising experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Own personal vehicle
• Clean driving record (3 or fewer violations in last 3 years)
• Smartphone or computer with internet access
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
