Job summary

The Merchandiser at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is responsible for presenting products at customer retail locations and servicing multiple bulk accounts. You will follow planograms and plan sets to attract consumer attention and ensure correct rotation of stock.

You will move products from backrooms to displays, rotate items, and assist with point-of-sale materials while fostering relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups and participation in programs.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Able to work independently with little daily supervision.
• Company provided cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves products from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; handles returns of pallets, shells, damaged and outdated stock.
• Builds business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and proactive communication.
