Job Opportunity: Retail Merchandiser in Champaign, IL

Join ActionLink as a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser and make a real impact in the world of electronics and retail displays.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete store visits within your assigned territory to ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
2. Report each visit with same-day digital surveys, including feedback and pictures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or 3PL is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within your territory.
• Attention to detail, following complex instructions and display diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Tech-savvy with internet access, basic hand tools, and a smartphone with GPS and Wi-Fi.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Up to 25 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no weekends/evenings).
• Paid at $18.00 per hour for general projects, with opportunities for higher rates on technical projects.
• Bi-weekly pay with direct deposit and optional 401(k) plan.
• Travel reimbursement for mileage and store-to-store drive time.
• Paid training provided.
• PTO accrual for time off.
