Job summary

The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability, visibility, and promotion of Coca-Cola beverages in retail stores across Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast’s territory. The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that beverage sections, displays, coolers and all points of availability are stocked and maintained with proper product levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in grocery/retail or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans for product placement and availability in retail stores.
• Maintain product on racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identify replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to attract customer attention and drive sales.
• Manage backrooms and backstock to ensure accurate product counts.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment (pallet jack, hand-truck).
• Develop relationships with store managers and staff to maximize merchandising opportunities.
