Job description

About the role: The Retail Merchandiser is a customer‑facing position that interacts with and assists resort customers frequenting the retail store. They must keep the store in pristine condition, making sure shelves are stocked and all displays are maintained in a presentable fashion. The Retail Attendant must have a good knowledge of all retail products and be able to offer assistance and recommendations to increase sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with purchases of merchandise or other questions, including refunds, exchanges, room charges, employee discounts, gift certificates, promotions, credit card purchases, and pack orders to be shipped.
• Maintain work area clean and organized, and report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Stock, replenish and retrieve merchandise and supplies; ensure all merchandise is correctly ticketed and priced.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Provide guests with directions.
• Assist with retail inventories.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• Close and open retail stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Previous retail experience is desirable.

• Computer proficiency, including resort PMS and POS systems and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
