Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Merchandiser in Pecos, TX to keep the sales floor well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will replenish inventory, maintain presentation standards, and help create a seamless shopping experience reflecting the brand identity.

This independent contractor role offers a flexible schedule, project-based hours, and an hourly rate of $16-$18. You will report via the Winston App, take before/after photos, and collaborate with store teams to meet

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales.
• Communicate merchandising needs with team members and store management.
• Work independently and in teams across different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to meet deadlines for store visits and deliverables.
• Submit store visit reports with before/after photos using the Winston App.
• Report via smartphones (iOS 11+ or newer; Android 2020+; OS within 4 versions).
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands‑on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
