We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Retail Merchandise Planner to join the USA Unite Store Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing merchandise and financial plans that drive sales performance, optimize inventory, and enhance gross margin profitability. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and retail partners to deliver consumer-centric and profitable assortments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage merchandise financial plans at both SKU and category levels to support seasonal and strategic goals.
• Forecast and analyze in-season sales trends and inventory positions to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with retail planning teams to align sales and inventory strategies for maximum profitability.
• Partner with account teams to create assortment strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Provide historical sales data and performance insights to support line planning and assortment recommendations.
• Evaluate assortment opportunities across location clusters, gender, category, and class.
• Establish and document consistent merchandise planning processes to improve efficiency and clarity.
• Support the go-to-market process with relevant planning insights and data.
• Proactively report on business performance to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead or support initiatives focused on driving planning process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in merchandise or retail planning.
• High proficiency in retail math, planning tools, and financial analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in store planning or retail operations.
• Familiarity with consumer trends, category management, or assortment planning.
• Experience working with or supporting large retail accounts.
