Job summary

TJX Companies’ TJ Maxx in Grove City, OH is seeking a Receiving and Merchandising Associate. You’ll execute receiving and merchandising standards, train Associates, and ensure a clean, organized store while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include tagging and stocking merchandise, coordinating with the Coordinator on Duty, maintaining safety and compliance, and supporting store goals with flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience required.
• 6 months of leadership experience required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in direction.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing.
• Create a positive customer experience and maintain store organization.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Tag, hang, code, and replenish merchandise; monitor productivity.
• Maintain backroom cleanliness and safety; adhere to policies and labor laws.
• Communicate priorities with management and provide progress updates.
