• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in a management role at a convenience store, gas station or similar environment.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence, periodicals, professional journals and government regulations.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
• Computer literacy and data entry capabilities.
• Strong communications and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail staff, including cashiers and floor employees.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, and displayed attractively and safely.
• Monitor inventory levels and process purchasing orders as required.
• Record purchases, maintain the database, and reconcile stock counts.
• Perform cash audits and deposit investigations.
• Ensure quality, customer service and health and safety standards.
• Communicate with managers about sales, staff and other matters.
• Greet guests and answer questions about merchandise.
