Job summary

Eataly Houston is seeking a Retail Market Manager for our new store opening. You will oversee the Grocery and Housewares departments, lead the teams, and ensure profitability while upholding our guest experience standards.

Responsibilities include creating promotion grids, managing stock, coordinating with Marketing, and driving sales through financial analysis and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Experience purchasing and managing inventory.
• Knowledge of Italian products and brands.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Grocery and Housewares departments to maximize profitability.
• Manage the Grocery and Housewares teams: hires, schedules, trains, motivates, payroll.
• Create monthly promotion grid and store layouts with saleable merchandise.
• Maintain an orderly store aesthetic and handle non-saleable merchandise.
• Monitor stock levels and requisition supplies as needed.
• Process deliveries, unload stock trucks, generate monthly reports.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Facilities on layout updates.
• Analyze financial data and develop strategies to increase efficiencies and drive sales.
• Perform other duties as required.
