Job summary

SNIPES Eastpointe is seeking an entry level Manager in Training (MIT) to support store leadership in daily operations at our Eastpointe, MI location. This full-time hourly role provides hands-on training to prepare you for Store Manager responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will work closely with Store Manager to drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, and maintain merchandising standards.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Retail experience preferred (2+ years).
High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership to drive sales and profitability.
Communicate store goals and directives to maximize team contributions.
Monitor performance in sales, hourly production, UPTs, charge accounts and loss prevention.
Provide leadership to staff as needed.
Ensure timely execution of floor set guides and promotions.
Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
Identify customer needs and adjust merchandise mix accordingly.
Coordinate markdowns and transfers in a timely manner.
Ensure cleanliness on sales floor and in stockroom.
