Position Overview

A locally owned Lawn & Garden Center is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead a small team, and help drive sales and profitability. This is a hands‑on management position in a small facility, with responsibility for up to 15 employees during peak season. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can establish systems, improve productivity and accountability, and confidently direct and delegate work based on the needs of the shop and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail operations and ensure the facility runs efficiently.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and manage employees.
• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to the team.
• Develop and implement systems to improve productivity, organization, and profitability.
• Direct and delegate employees based on daily shop and property needs.
