Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training at our Richmond, IN location (Richmond Square Mall). The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and promotions while delivering outstanding customer service and embodying the Hibbett I City Gear experience.

Responsibilities include supervising in the Store Manager’s absence, managing departments, and ensuring visual standards and profitability. Prior retail and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and achieve goals.
• Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with store operations and administrative duties.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Supervise in the Store Manager’s absence and guide staff.
• Monitor inventory, sales, expenses, and profitability across departments.
• Provide extraordinary customer service and lead by example.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
