Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Peoria, IL, is seeking a Sales and Management Intern to support store operations and guest experience. You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks such as cashiering, display work, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; no prior experience or training necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing that knowledge with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service on the sales floor, fitting rooms, and at the register area.
