Love's Travel Stops is offering an 11-week Retail Management Internship focused on managing high-volume travel centers including food service and truck care. Interns work with seasoned leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service while supporting drivers and travelers.

The program aims to set interns on a rewarding career path with Love's, offering hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care and opportunities for leadership development and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program pursuing a degree in business, management, hospitality, or related field.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screenings may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
• Ability to interact confidently with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
• Develop business acumen by learning how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
• Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
• Gain experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
• Understand and help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
