Love's Travel Stops is offering an 11-week Retail Management Internship designed to provide hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers, including food service and truck care. Interns work with seasoned leaders to learn operations, team management and customer service, helping drivers and travelers get back on the road quickly.

The program aims to set interns on a path toward a rewarding career with Love's, offering mentorship, real-world skills, and leadership development

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a business-, management-, hospitality-, or related-field degree program.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; DOT/vehicle checks may apply.
• Willingness to learn by doing in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Internship designed for hands-on management training with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
• Develop business acumen by learning how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
• Learn team leadership, staffing, andemployee development practices.
• Gain experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
• Understand and help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
