Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a Retail Maintenance Estimator to support our California projects. The ideal candidate has knowledge of commercial construction estimating, prepares accurate estimates for tenant improvement projects, and uses estimating software and MS Office daily.

This role offers regular hours in a collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth within a statewide service provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent experience in estimating construction projects.
• Proficient utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient alpha-numeric data entry with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
• Proficiency in construction math, including measurements, unit conversions, area and volume calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit maintenance proposals within the scope of framing, concrete, drywall, tile, flooring and demolition
• Interpret and review blueprints, project schematics and/or specifications to determine material and labor requirements
• Obtain and reference pricing from internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Perform high-volume data entry to maintain and update estimating software and databases
• Incorporate current industry trends, materials, and best practices into project estimates
• Perform additional clerical duties as assigned to support the department

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted statewide provider of skilled trade construction services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and 24/7 emergency services for our clients. We are seeking an experienced Retail Maintenance Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction estimating, materials, and experience preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of tenant improvement projects.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
