Qualifications

• Strong communication and judgment are essential.
• Basic computer and time-management skills required.
• Investigative/analytical abilities are a plus.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to shoplifter guidelines and policies.
• Provides timely, courteous service to customers.
• Promotes honesty and confidentiality; maintains integrity.
• Observes, apprehends, and deters dishonest acts by outsiders.
• Participates in investigations and surveillance as assigned.
• Ensures apprehensions align with store theft activity.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and deadlines.
• Handles evidence per law enforcement procedures; participates in police calls if needed.
• Coordinates shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Complies with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Encourages Associates to use shrink reduction resources.
• Promotes safety awareness and a safe store environment.
