Job summary

The TJ Maxx stores are seeking a Loss Prevention Associate in the United States, Massachusetts, for the TJX family. You will help protect assets, maintain safety standards, and work with store management to deter theft while delivering courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities include following shoplifter guidelines, conducting apprehensions per policy, coordinating shrink-related activities with management, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment.
• Basic computer and time management skills.
• Investigative/analytical abilities suitable for loss prevention.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing directions.
• 0–2 years in retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily tasks for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs.
• Maintains relationships with Store Management and conducts apprehensions per policy.
• Identifies and resolves internal and external theft.
• Coordinates shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintains evidence and participates in legal activities when needed.
• Promotes safety and supports maintenance of a safe environment.
