Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is hiring for a Store Loss Prevention role at our Fairhaven, MA location. You will implement safety programs, build positive relationships with Store Management, and conduct apprehensions in line with policy to deter theft.

You’ll work with a team to protect assets, communicate effectively with associates, and support shrink reduction initiatives while maintaining compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail software.
• Time management abilities to handle multiple tasks.
• Investigative or analytical capabilities for shrink control.
• Ability to adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Team-oriented with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• 0–2 years of retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily tasks for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs.
• Maintains relationships with Store Management.
• Conducts apprehensions within policies and guidelines.
• Communicates with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives.
• Identifies and resolves internal and external theft.
• Observes, apprehends, and deters acts of dishonesty from outside sources.
• Coordinates and completes shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Ensures paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Maintains evidence and demonstrates understanding of law enforcement procedures as needed.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs.
