Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking a Retail Loss Prevention Detective to reduce shrink and safeguard assets across our stores. You'll leverage your loss prevention experience to deter theft, uphold policies, and support store operations while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

As part of the Loss Prevention team, you will patrol premises, conduct audits, respond to alarms, and collaborate with local authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required.
• Able to work in a dynamic retail environment with vigilance and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor store premises to prevent theft or rule infractions.
• Provide surveillance and assist police with shoplifter apprehensions when needed.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures and related security checks.
• Perform safety audits, fire prevention tasks, and inspections.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate with management during incidents.
• Assist with insurance inspections and investigations as required.
