Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking a Loss Prevention Detective to help protect assets and reduce losses in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work as part of the Loss Prevention team to deter theft and ensure compliance with store policies.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. A dynamic retail setting offers opportunities for growth within the LP program.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Experience in retail loss prevention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft and infractions.
• Provide loss prevention support through policies and procedures.
• Assist police with apprehensions of shoplifters.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures.
• Perform safety and fire inspections.
• Respond to alarm activations and insurance investigations.
• Collaborate with management and staff to minimize losses.
