Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Retail Loan Consultant or Sr. Retail Loan Consultant. Responsibilities include originating retail loan applications, assessing and processing loan requests, compiling complete loan files for submission, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. The role also involves providing excellent customer service by assisting clients with their questions and needs throughout the loan process.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Loan Officer and in Loan Origination
• Experience level and proven annual production numbers will influence the title and compensation structure
• Knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented with a willingness to contribute and assist where needed
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NMLS) are a plus
• Focus on lending in the Midwest is preferred but not required
