Job summary

L A HEARNE COMPANY in California is seeking a Retail Loader to stock and organize products, and to load products and orders into customers' vehicles. The role requires safe lifting, forklift use, and good communication with customers.

Training is provided; a high school diploma is preferred, with occasional delivery help possible. The schedule includes weekday afternoons and Saturdays, with physical demands including lifting up to 100 lbs and exposure to outdoor conditions.

• Forklift experience preferred, but not required. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Package, crate and load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
• Package parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, cover or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment.
• Responsible for all lifts and checking loads for accuracy and completion.
• Loading and offloading flatbed trucks as needed.
• Forklift usage to load and unload.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• May occasionally assist with delivering products and orders to customers.
