Job summary

PD Instore seeks a Lighting Engineer to lead the development, specification, and integration of lighting systems across custom retail displays and branded experiences. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure lighting solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and visually impactful.

Responsibilities include selecting components, determining color temperature and CRI, and creating installation documentation. A background in LED lighting for retail and CAD proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-5+ years in lighting engineering or related field.
• Experience with LED lighting systems for retail displays preferred.
• UL standards knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and integration of lighting systems for retail displays.
• Specify LED components, color temperature, CRI, and lumen output.
• Create lighting schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, production, and clients.
• Ensure cost-effective, scalable, and visually impactful lighting designs.
