Job summary

PD Instore is seeking a Lighting Engineer to lead LED lighting development for custom retail displays, fixtures, and shop-in-shop environments. You will specify lighting systems, evaluate components, and design for cost, reliability, and branding consistency.

You will collaborate with engineering, creative, sourcing, production, and client teams to ensure scalable, visually impactful lighting solutions while supporting manufacturing efficiency. Travel between PD locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in lighting engineering or LED systems.
• Lighting Certified (LC) or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and specify LED lighting solutions for retail displays and fixtures.
• Select and evaluate lighting components (LED strips, panels, drivers, wiring).
• Determine color temperature, CRI, lumen output, and beam characteristics.
