Job summary

Northland's Pattern District in Newton, MA seeks a Director of Retail Leasing to lead the leasing strategy for the retail and commercial components of the project. This role will identify, attract, negotiate, and secure a curated mix of tenants that enhance the community while maximizing long-term asset value.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, marketing, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of commercial retail leasing experience is required.
• Demonstrated success negotiating and executing retail leases with national, regional, and emerging brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail merchandising and leasing strategy for Pattern District.
• Lead all commercial leasing activities from prospecting to lease execution and store openings.
• Build relationships with retailers, brokers, and industry contacts to cultivate a robust leasing pipeline.
