Job summary

Mint Cannabis Georgetown is seeking a Retail Lead to guide daily dispensary operations and ensure a compliant, customer-focused shopping experience. You will mentor Budtenders, manage floor activities, and maintain inventory and merchandising standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of cannabis products, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and education to patients and customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or cannabis retail experience.
• 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of cannabis products, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in accordance with company policy.
• Oversee daily dispensary floor operations and support staff.
• Verify allotments, guide patients through product selection, and deliver excellent service.
• Mentor and train Budtenders and delegate tasks as needed.
• Keep product displays clean, labeled, rotated, and stocked.
• Handle customer concerns, assist with de-escalation, and support team performance.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.50

Position Summary:

The Retail Lead supports the daily operations of the dispensary by guiding team performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance and organization throughout the sales floor. This role bridges the gap between team members and store management and plays a key role in delivering a positive, educational, and compliant customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to open and close the store in accordance with company policy.
• Responsible for overseeing daily dispensary floor operations and ensuring staff are supported and efficient.
• Must be able to verify allotments, guide patients through product selection, and deliver exceptional service.
• Responsible for mentoring and training Budtenders and delegating tasks as needed.
• Must ensure product displays are clean, properly labeled, rotated, and fully stocked.
• Responsible for handling customer concerns, assisting with de-escalation, and supporting team performance.
• Must operate point-of-sale systems accurately and assist with daily cash reconciliation.
• Required to maintain a clean, compliant, and professional retail environment.
• Must support management with team communication, scheduling, and daily feedback.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervises Budtenders and retail team members during scheduled shifts.
• Provides real-time coaching and supports training initiatives.

• Working knowledge of cannabis products, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (3+ hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent license) if required by state regulations.
