Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a part-time non-exempt retail associate in Mabank, TX. The role involves greeting customers, ensuring staff training and PPE safety, monitoring store conditions, and assisting in achieving sales budgets.

You will report to the Store Manager and may be required to travel and secure the building during openings and emergencies. Qualifications include a high school diploma and ability to perform multiple duties, with a focus on customer service and teamwork in a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists all customers with exceptional customer service.
• Insures that all employees are trained for the jobs they will be performing, trained for the equipment they will be using, and understand potential safety hazards for their work.
• Must inspect PPE and report issues to supervisor.
• Monitor work areas, conduct safety inspections and store evaluations; take corrective action when unsafe.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly to supervisor; provide first aid to accident victims.
• Assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted sales goals.
• Communicate with Store Manager; ensure policy compliance by staff.
• Ensure daily workstation has necessary supplies to be fully operational.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and neatly and submit on time.
• Respond to all alert codes for assistance; maintain safe environment.
• Open/close the store as needed; respond to emergency calls to secure building.
• Travel may be required; proof of current liability insurance required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
