Job summary

Qualifications

• Math calculations: add/sub/multiply/percentages.
• Cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• IBM cash register functions.
• Cash, facility and safety control policies.
• Strong interpersonal and oral & written communication.
• Read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Order zones and drop shipment categories as assigned.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Greet customers entering the store.
• Operate register and complete transactions.
• Open/close the store under direction of the Area Manager.
• Authorize refunds and overrides in Manager absence.
• Monitor cash levels and drawer accuracy.
• Monitor cameras for unusual activity.
• Provide cashier accountability and cash control.
