With moderate supervision, the Retail Keyholder assists the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. They provide outstanding guest service experiences within a sales culture that utilizes elements of GameStop\'s Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model. This position ensures products are easily accessible and purchasable, boosts sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge with guests, maintains a clean and organized shopping environment, and fosters guest loyalty and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and courteously, assist guests in meeting their video gaming needs, inform guests about promotions and the trade-in program, recommend additional items as appropriate, apply selling behaviors during transactions, and thank guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support the shopping environment and nurture guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
• Process purchases and returns accurately via the POS system, ensuring top-notch guest service.
• Address guest questions in person or on the phone; answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits, such as new title reservations and the Pro Rewards loyalty program.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are in working order.
• Complete Omni-Channel orders daily.
• Safeguard assets through inventory control and loss prevention; assist with bank deposits as required.
• Conduct inventory counts, stock shelves, and move products from stock to selling floor; ensure items are represented and alphabetized.
• Support management in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required duties.
• Balance daily transactions in the POS system; manage closeout paperwork and cash deposits per guidelines.
• Check shipments for discrepancies and report issues to the Store Manager as needed.
• Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls with proper labeling and packing lists.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management.
• Follow all store policies and procedures and complete opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States; at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; meet performance expectations including attendance and grooming.

• Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 3 days/week availability.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand for long periods.
