BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team in Santa Barbara, CA. You will open and close the store, support staff, and deliver excellent customer service to drive sales.

The role requires 1+ years of leadership in retail and strong cash handling skills. You will help with inventory, pricing accuracy, and loss prevention while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules; be available during peak hours of operation and availability to support stores on nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services.
• Arrive early to open the store and stay late to close the store.
• Assist during high volume periods and support new employees.
• Know in-house products to offer recommendations to customers.
• Assist with inventory tasks: restocking, counts, and discrepancy checks.
• Process cash transactions accurately and prepare deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges.
• Monitor the floor to prevent theft and minimize loss.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with standards in all areas.
• Train new employees on procedures and product knowledge.

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and services
• Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store
• Will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees
• Knowledge of in house products to provide customers with recommendations
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
• Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receipt
• Processing refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
• Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Pay

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
• Santa Barbara, CA Salary Range: USD $17.75/hr
• The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
