Job Description: Key Carrier at TJ Maxx

Opportunity: Grow Your Career

The Key Carrier role is an extension of the Coordinator role, with responsibilities alternating based on store needs. Key Carriers perform as Coordinators and occasionally act as Key Carriers, providing leadership in store operations. Must have open availability, including nights and weekends, and model exceptional customer service.

1. Create a positive customer experience both internally and externally.
2. Promote honesty, integrity, and maintain confidentiality.
3. Act as Manager on Duty following company policies and procedures.
4. Ensure store tasks are performed according to plan and prioritize effectively.
5. Address customer service issues and coach Associates accordingly.
6. Exercise discretion in customer service policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Maintain accurate Associate coverage for optimal customer experience.
8. Ensure operational procedures and opening/closing protocols are followed.
9. Communicate effectively with management and Associates, providing updates and feedback.
10. Collaborate on training needs and recognize team achievements.
11. Adhere to labor laws, policies, and safety standards.
12. Promote credit and loyalty programs, and support shrink reduction initiatives.
13. Maintain a safe environment and perform other duties as assigned.
