Peoplemark is seeking a dependable Retail Janitor / Store Custodian Floater to support multiple locations in the Greater Phoenix area. You will serve as a Lead Janitor and travel between stores as needed, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments for customers and staff.

The role offers guaranteed weekly hours with potential for additional opportunities based on business needs. 1st shift, pay $17.00/hour, and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Chemical safety knowledge and PPE usage.
• Proficiency with heavy cleaning equipment like industrial vacuums and floor buffers.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate floor scrubbers/buffers daily.
• Surface sanitization: clean high-touch areas to meet health standards.
• Restroom maintenance: sanitize and restock supplies.
• Waste management: empty trash and recycling to outdoor dumpsters.
• Spill response: quickly address spills with proper signage.
• Exterior upkeep: maintain storefront walkways and parking areas.
• Inventory monitoring: track cleaning supplies and notify when replenished.
