Job summary

Boot Barn in Maine is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to manage inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring shelves are stocked to promote a great customer experience and support sales goals.

You will verify deliveries, input freight data, apply EAS tags, and execute transfers, RTVs and markdowns in line with company standards. Maintain a neat stock room, coach the sales team on procedures, and uphold Loss Prevention practices while aiming for high UPH productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience managing store inventory and stockroom operations.
• Ability to process inbound/outbound shipments accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor in accordance with Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate input for all freight information through company systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns efficiently and in line with Company policies.
• Educate and coach sales team on all inventory processes and procedures affecting the customer experience.
• Maintain a neat and orderly stock room compliant with all Company and State guidelines.
• Adhere to local, federal and state laws as well as Company policies and practices.
