Are you detail-oriented and passionate about personal care products? Do you get excited when you discover a new product? We are looking for a Retail Inventory Coordinator to join our team.

Here are some highlights of what you will be doing in this role:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of retail and inventory within the salon and spa to ensure a high level of client service standards and achievement of overall retail and service sales goals.
  • Responsible for upholding the integrity of the automatic replenishment system and performing functions such as placing orders, stock control, merchandising, stock movement.
  • Completes salon-to-salon transfers and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Communicates in salon/spa and warehouse out-of-stocks with departments on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinates and leads bi-annual physical inventory.
  • Uses the company’s inventory system to track and audit any discrepancies found at the salon/spa level.
  • Ensures all stock areas are clean and organized for easy navigation.
  • Places weekly supply orders and monitors order quantities to stay within the Open to Buy Budget Guidelines and current days of supply targets.
  • Leads monthly Stock Control Book counts, audits, and return audits for accuracy.
  • Distributes orders, receives boxes, and ensures accuracy.
  • Communicates all new policies and procedures to the teams.
  • Writes supplemental orders as necessary to replenish stock.
  • Maintains product rotation and cleanliness standards on shelving units.
  • Maintains storefront displays that promote the company (if applicable).
  • Ensures all holiday collateral is always at an optimal level.
  • Performs daily stock movement for all departments and completes station audits for hair, nail, and spa departments at least twice a week.
  • Attends monthly Retail Coordinator meetings to stay current on policies and procedures.
  • Performs weekly active assortment audits for hair and nail departments and assists the GM in placing supplemental orders.

Here are some of the skills we are looking for:

  • Experience with hospitality, retail, or customer service in a fast-paced environment; beauty, spa, or salon experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines with urgency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds.
