Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Sign on bonus: N/A
  • Position: Surgical Scheduler
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Required Travel: no

What you will do:

  • Answer phones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Collect co-payments
  • Complete patient registration
  • Provide administrative support to the physician practice
  • Check in and check out patients
  • Verify insurances

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience required. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program is preferred but not required.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: At least one year of work experience required; previous experience in a medical office or related field is preferred. On-the-job training is provided for those without medical assistant training or experience.
